Almost brand new GTI

Maybe for somebody who’s Looking for a GTI I don’t know how this works but a YouTuber “Saving Salvage” is giving a GTI away on “Compete for cars” Looks like it has been in a timecapsule…  Don’t shoot me of how this “Compete stuff” is working😅 Hopefully sombody can be the owner of this nice & clean example 😎👍🏻 For some reason I can’t upload a screenshot of it on here now?!?🙄 Go check it out on YouTube…

So I’ve just rebuilt a ed30 that was in a front end crash I’ve mostly finished everything only problems occur now is the abs that keeps flashing up front left and driver side seat belt,the problem I have with it now tho that is the most confusing is when I press the clutch and brake pedal down the engine shuts off,but when I press one of them down like the brake pedal for instance

Good day everyone. I’ve got a mk5 gti with a k04 turbo. The pcv hose from the pcv to intake manifold is currently blocked off with rubber caps. The car smokes really badly from the exhaust. On start up, it smokes I little bit, and the longer the car idles, the thicker the smoke gets. I’m scared to drive it in case it blows up.

HNY nbsp  Our GTI rear washer is not working, took the back panel off and it sprays into the boot at full speed! It doesn'#039t seem to be the connection of the hose to the fixed part, but its firing out above that on a fixed piece  <

sorry to bump an old thread. i was looking at DIYing this job but couldn'#039t find a good spray adhesive.
i'#039ve heard 3M and Trim Fix which seem to be the most popular in the UK can fail in the summer. a recommended one i see a lot is Permatex but i can'#039t seem to find it in the UK
does anyone have any recommendations as to what they'#039ve used and how long it'#039s

Hey, thanks for the tip. I have a slightly different HVAC control scheme, but I tried to replicate what they did here. It didn'#039t seem to do anything immediately but a couple hours later I started the car up again and the blower began working.
I'#039ll update this thread later if I ever figure out what caused it and what actually got it fixed, but I can'#039t rule out the flap

A random low oil pressure warning means your engine isn't getting enough lubrication, often due to low oil, a failing pump, worn internal parts, or a bad sensor/connection, and you should stop driving and shut off the engine immediately to prevent severe damage, then check your oil level and call for a tow if needed.

Did you carbon clean the valves when the manifold was off?
Did you change all the injector seals also as they are one time use.

Hi, my diverter valve is on its way out and i have been toying with the idea of getting the forge motorsport dump valve. my question is if i get it would it cause issues in performance compared to the oem dv. The car is r tech stage 2+. Any help/recommendations are appreciated.

So as some may know I have been battling this issue for quite a while now.
